Who Funds Thames Hospicecare?
As a registered charity, ThamesHospicecare relies almost entirely upon voluntary contributions in order to continue its vital work.
Around 75% of our funds have to be raised from voluntary contributions with Primary Care Trust grants accounting for around 25% of operating costs.
This balance of funding emphasises the crucial importance of our supporters in safeguarding the Hospice’s future
We rely on the help of the local community through the generous time of volunteers, income from our high street shops, the Hospice Lottery, donations from individuals, legacies and the support of local fundraising groups, local clubs, businesses, schools, colleges and churches.
